Services at Kingston WoRx - Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation services are a crucial link for a timely and safe return-to-work following injury. The goal of our program is to restore an injured employee’s level of physical performance so they can safely return-to-work as quickly as possible. Rehabilitation services assist with both pre- and post-surgical clients and injury management by working closely with employers, employees, providers, and insurance adjusters to design an effective individualized, return-to-work process.
Following injury, or before surgery, our physical therapy services can help to manage pain and maximize your functional performance. Treatment by a licensed physical therapist can handle a broad range of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, from acute to chronic in nature.
Our physical therapist can employ an integrated rehab program utilizing therapeutic exercise, modalities like ultrasound, electric stimulation, paraffin, and thermal applications, manual therapy, and functional training to handle all of your rehabilitative needs.
Our trained and licensed staff will work with your company to develop a graduated return to work program for injured workers. This will help to insure a smooth, injury-free integration back into the workforce.
This program may include:
• Development of detailed job descriptions to comply with ADA and DOT guidelines
• Classification and implementation of job duties/demands
• Identification of injury-specific special needs in job tasks
• Education to the injured worker about their condition
• Education of management to understand the need for a graduated RTW program
Injury prevention education provides your employees with basic tools to minimize injuries in the workplace. Our programs encourage individual responsibility by providing employees with a fundamental understanding of injuries that occur in the workplace and how they can be prevented.
