About Mountainside Residential Care Center
After several years of intensive planning, the Mountainside Residential Care Center opened its doors on May 1994 to area residents in need of quality 24-hour skilled nursing services in a comfortable, comprehensive, accessible setting.
The center provides semi-private and private rooms for more than 80 long-term care residents, three nutritious meals a day plus snacks planned by a registered dietitian and prepared on-site, and a variety of activities and events for residents, staff and visitors alike. including pet therapy. holiday fairs, gardening, art instruction, day outings, and musical entertainment. The center also includes lounges and common areas where residents can enjoy reading, table games, or friendly conversation. The first floor has a cafe open for use 24 hours a day by residents and their guests.
More than 100 staff members contribute to the smooth operation at the Mountainside Residential Care Center. Among our staff members are a team of health care professionals including a podiatrist, dentist, optometrist, and occupational, physical and speech therapists. Margaretville Memorial Hospital is located right next door to provide emergency and acute medical/surgical and coronary care services if needed.
